IIRC, it has to have a shell on it and you can never haul anything in the bed.

I tried to register my old dumptruck again. It has been off the road for three years. Finally got the motor redone and went to get new tags.......$2850. This is a 1985 GMC POS ex Caltrans 14 foot dump truck. I can't imagine what it will be next year, after the increase.
I guess I will just drive it unregistered. Can't even sell it, its only worth $3,500.

See if the new owners of red rock want to use it/ store it, for you and regester it in Az. (They are doing alot of remodeling at the camp ground.) My truck would be $23.50 for 1 yr. $35.00 for 2 yrs. ($117.00 in Ca.)...........Moneypitt
