Anyone have any recommendations for catback systems and headers? It's for a extended cab 2001 Sierra. I am currently looking at Gibson but I'm pretty new to the new truck thing!!

anyone????? Looking for a good one for my 99 Yukon. Want to get some cheap power and a little more sound so you can tell it is a V8. :D

I put a Gibson cat back on my 2001 Yukon. Very happy with it. Fit and finish were excellent. Not too loud in the cab, but a noticable difference outside. Like you said, it sounds like a V8 now. Did notice a little more umph in the towing department.

I have had pretty good luck with Flowmaster. Not stainless, but I put a cat-back on my 89 Ford F250, it fit better then the stock exhaust.
I also have their GM A-Body header back exhaust on my Cutlass, nice and tight, nothing hanging down, and great sound.

I have a Bullett Performance (http://www.bulletperformance.com/) Exhaust 3" cat back system on my 2002 5.3 Chevy. It's all stainless and costs about $310 installed. Not loud in the cabin, nice tone under throttle.
It was installed by Express Muffler (http://www.expressmuffler.com/) in San Diego. As far as headers are concerned.....
I recommend The Other Guys (http://www.theotherguysproducts.com/products.html) and Thorley Headers (http://thorleyheaders.com/index.html)

I had Gibson cat back on my old GMC and recoment it above all others! When the muffler wore out on the wife's 94 K5 Blazer I changed it to a Gibson with the factory pipes, (she didn't want it to loud) My F350 has the flowmaster muffler with Local shops mandrel bent system, cause he had it in stock and said it was louder then the Gibson. (Damn V-10 sounds like a swing machine from the factory)

Gale Banks makes a nice product. Very deep sounding, if thats what you are looking for.
