There are a bunch of us over here now from OSO. For everyone on this forum, lets talk about our boats.
In November I took delivery of a 2002 PowerQuest 340 Vyper. This is my second PQ. My previous boat was a PowerQuest 280 Silencer. I liked that boat so much, I decided to up the ante.
Well it has been a long winter, so far I have managed to get 15 hours on the boat.
Here is my website showing the boat being built from start to finish. http://home.infi.net/~brip/index.html

I have a 99 PQ 280 Silencer, 502EFI and windscreen. We trailer a whole lot and love the boat.
I have a family of three boys all under 10 and they love to boat as much as Mom and Dad.
My next boat will have a larger cuddy with AC and twins http://free.***boat.net/ubb/wink.gif so that we can do more on the water overnighting. Currently we boat all day and trailer to a hotel for the night and then back in the water the next day. That really is not a bad way of doing it with small kids because they get to enjoy themselves in the pool and hot tub http://free.***boat.net/ubb/biggrin.gif.

Hey gang. my family owns a 21 foot baja right know with a 454, that boat is for sale so that we can buy a larger boat. My wife Amy and I have 2 girls, Ashli 8, and Abbi 4.
We do most of our boating on the upper Mississippi with a bunch of other hot rod owners. Hoping to make a trip to oshkosh this summer.

HP500efi,
I recently picked up a 2000 PQ 280 Silencer. Also plan on doing some trailering. Seems like a pertty easy task for a boat that size. I agree, it would be nice to have the weekend package onboard. But so far the PQ has the largest cockpit and cuddy I have found in my price range. LOVE the Boat!!!!!!
Bill R - I'm gonna' come and see ya today!!!!!

my first non-jet boat so I am a virgin and I am not easy, it take more then a value meal to get to me. Jokes aside I am looking forward to summer this year a lot more then in the past. As I will miss my lake rockets I will not miss the pounding I took in them.

AudioGuy,
I see you are from the Los Angeles area. Are you going to join us for some ocean running. There are quite a few 28+ footers running around Newport and Long Beach. You don't have to wait for summer.

I'm looking forward to my inaugural launching sometime soon. Went to the 28' to increase wife's comfort level about going out to Catalina -- which I've never done.
Haven't done the MDR, Long Beach, Newport thing ever.
Hope to do this within the next month or so.

This is my first post on this site. Too Old told be about it. Glad to be here.
As for boats, Today I am boatless. The Baja 272 found a new home today. Sad to see it go. It is a very good boat and the new owner got a good deal.
But we do have a new 2002 Baja 36 Outlaw ordered with 500 efi's and all the goodies that should be here late April or early May. I will post a picture when we get it.

Todd...you got it! Man I love those 32 Active Thunders. I'll shoot a picture of the Sonic tomorrow with the digital camera and post it. Just keep in mind I have a lot of deck hardware stripped off for the painter. But, that damn arch is gone!

I like it, no problems with it, its a little wider which is nice with kids. I have had it up to 60mph on a gps with thru prop and 21 pitch prop, Im putting a quick and quiet thru hull and I have a 23 pitch labbed prop for this year. I should see around 65mph. it does chine walk but not to bad.
