Seriously, who would want to live in a paradise of wilderness, no smog, few crowds, pristine skiing and lakes. not me, no thanks. I like my polluted life style right here with 20 million other folks within about 100 miles. :D

sorry dog- it's a stat holiday here, usually celebrations and events and gatherings happen in communities all across Canada. Flag waving, parades and as soon as it's dark enough (barring rain) there are usually fireworks to watch. Beer drinking for those who do it lasts all day long. BBQ's and picnics ... it's just a really fun happy day for us. :) I mean it IS a birthday party! :D
