Leagal to Barb-Q in the London Bridge Channel?

I can remember people using fire pits for the Christmas Light Parade, ?

I don't know if you are "allowed" to bbq on the water side of the sidewalk, but I don't know why not. After all, they do have a number of public grills on the park side of the sidewalk. We BBq'd there the Friday night before OP6.
