We got back last night from Laughlin. It was incredibly HOT!!!. On the water was a lot better.

How can that be a record....when I lived in Havasu in 93 it hit 128. Yes it was pure hell unless you were on the water, and then it was still on the verge of miserable..... eek!

It was a high for the day in Bullhead, :rolleyes: there were many other records set for yesterday date as well. wink

You are correct it is not an all time High for any date or time of the year in Bullhead. :rolleyes:

There is at least one member of this board who camped out during the 124+ degree weather in LHC during 1993. That board member wasn't me, however. :D

We were in Havasu this past weekend and it was f**kin hot I think it hit about 120 but it was nicer in the water. Hung out at the channel we went in the water and were dry in about 2 minutes. :cool:

Right you are Burbanite. You should ask him some time about the thrill of sleeping in his truck bed at that temperature. I was too old for that kind of adventure, even then. :D

To be exact, it was 127.8. According to the newspaper. I still have the copy. it was the highest recorded temp in AZ history. In LHC. When launching my lice, the car thermometer read 128 degrees. Interestingly it was 122 at the bridge.
