I think RD is just trying to let the anticipation build up. I have a feeling he wont do it until tomorrow. He is probably right now in the process of writing his 10,000th post.
It'll be a book, the first post that was 6 pages. And tells all about his key to reaching 10,000 posts.

Since 10,000 posts is uncharted territory, let's hope the message board software was written properly to display five digits -- it would be a shame if you rolled over to 0000 posts. :D
