Does that mean that by 45 most of us sell off the boat, or if you're over 45 you really don't give a crap about posting? :D

Do you think it has anything to do with computer literacy? No offense but I know my dad has a hard time checking his email?
I am 32 and it is just expected to have a computer on your desk at work. My 5 year old has computers in his pre-school and can work a mouse better than me I think. I am still learning new things on here every day....

RR, No offense taken. I definately think that there is a fine line where some people literally click when it comes to computers, and some don't. And age is a big factor in that. I'm 33 and my dad (57) teaches employees in his company on how to use a computer. Some 20 year olds don't know how to multitask. Remember back in the day when we were kids and had to set the VCR clock for 2 reasons. #1, the damn thing would blink 12:00 all day long and #2, the parents didn't have a clue how to do it.

Yep, I remember those days... funny though how kids are so much smarter than their parents. Right now the kindergarden classes are teaching the teachers. wink I train people on software all day and I'm amazed at how stressed out people get over the "multi-tasking" mouse/keyboard thing. It just cracks me up sometimes... I worked with a lady (about 23yrs old or so) one time that didn't know she could pick up the mouse when it started to move off of the mouse pad. She had her mouse all the way wrapped around her terminal before she started even complaining about it though, I wanted to laugh so bad.. but I had to remain the "teacher" and be patient.
I guess my point is that it's not the age that matters (with computers anyway) it's the brain cell count. wink

I'm in the 17% group (for now until the numbers go up) but I see it this way: I'm old enuf to know better, and still young enuf to do it TWICE. In a row. Per hour. You're as old as you feel (and I've been told I feel pretty damn good). :p

I've already seen two such threads on here and wondered: why don't you just ask for ASL? LOL! I'm game, I ain't askeered eek! Some of my standard answers are:
AGE: Old enough to know better, and still young enuf to do it as many times as I want to. SEX: On occasion. LOCATION: Right here silly! Anything else you wanna know that's none of your business, just ASK :)
Name: Sally, Sex: Female, State: Texas, Age: 45, Marital Status:Single, Disposition: Mean as all gitout.
<----Moody little witch 45 lookin' for a kind, considerate guy for a love-hate relationship: must have a boat, pickup, and a minimum of 3 huntin' dawgs. Number of dawgs negotiable. Please send pics of the boat, truck, and dawgs. He must be able to be trusted with sharp objects and firearms, however whoopee cushions and silly string are always appreciated. It would also be nice if his idea of a "good investment" isn't supporting his local bar. Thanks!
