Stir the pot??? Hell yes. That's what makes this board so much fun.
Moderation has been discussed up and down on several multipage threads. Obviously some members got more worked up about it than others. :D Again, that's more interesting than a lot of the other threads.
While I am no post *****, I do visit and read almost daily. I think most readers won't notice a difference from unmoderated to moderated. No more naked babe or beaver shots, but those are available in a million other places anyway..
I do appreciate the irony that a Larry Flynt product has a problem with nudity on this site though. There is a place for everything, I guess this is not the place for that stuff anymore. No big deal.
Froggy pointed out the proper decorum rather succinctly in another thread..."If it won't be found in the magazine, it shouldn't go up here." That makes sense, and should be easy enough to follow.
I really appreciate the effort that the moderators have (and will be) putting forth for the benefit of the rest of us. Yes, I like to stir shit up, but I am grateful for the opportunity and place to do so.

He does not have a problem with that as we all know (and love). He has a problem getting grief from housewifes about porn on a site that's a non porn site / low money generator. He has plenty of smut sites. And I would think that he's making big bucks on them as well.
Bottom line, the site almost got shut down and non of us want that.
Oh, it was always moderated, just very loosly.
Now it's run by a guy that knows alot about the web and message boards. But he's not a custom hot boater. He chose to have it moderated by the people who use it. Makes sense to me.
