Most motorcycle and PWC stores sell quality gas cans

Wal Mart has pretty good gas cans for the price if you want the red plastic ones. If you are looking for the big heavy duty Blue containers then go to a motorcycle shop for them. I got my blue ones from Montclair Yamaha sometime back and I believe I paid like $25 per. They are definitely worth the money I spent but I think they may have been on sale when I got them.

perfect, I will check out a few motorcyle shops. I was mostly looking for the taller clear/white cans, I dont know if they are 10 gallon or what.

Those tall "motorcycle" plastic containers (have screw on caps with clear plastic fill tubes) are typically 5+ gallons each - can't squeeze 6 gallons into them. They come in a variety of colors like this --> http://www.motoworldracing.com/media/scribner-03-utilityjugs.jpg

I have a lid on my pickup so I had to buy some of them red cans that will fit under my lid. All the cans in CA have this stupid "spill proof" CARB approved nozzle that sucks. I ended up buying them at an auto parts store in AZ. I think I payed about $35 for 4 cans in AZ. The cans from AZ have the normal nozzle too.

Be careful what color can you buy I was turned down by a gas station because my can wasnt red. Believe that shit huh!!! They wouldnt let me fill the can, I was pissed, the next station didnt have a clue so no problem there but what a joke.

Anyone that has to go through "fuel" checks after racing needs to read the buletin from NHRA concerning the storage of fuel and the cans chosen. Plastic alters the chemical make up of the fuel, and has caused disqualifications in some of the drag classes.. Otherwise, PAW has the plastic ones shown for $20.00 plus 8 or 9 for the spout.......Moneypitt
