1975 Charger info

I still looking for info on my 1975 Charger. I have looked up the hull number and found out it is a charger jet boat. Right now it has a 455 olds in it it's 19feet long. I'm just trying to find some back ground info on it. I picked it up for 500 bucks with everything on it. It runs and no leak so I don't think I lost anything. according to the hull number it was about the 50th one made so I know there is more out there

black,orange,yellow big block ford and jacuzzi pump.I have a pic of it somewhere from 79 the first day my dad took us out in it.We still have the boat today(my brother now owns it)But it is in need of some work.

Here is a web site that tells how to read your number http://www.boatsafe.com/nauticalknowhow/hin.htm and I also searched around on the coast guard web site. hope it helps

I have a '79 Charger Mini Daycruiser right now. I also know a guy that bought an 18' Charger brand new back then. He sold it a couple of years ago. I'll probably see him when we go to the desert before Easter.
I'll ask him about it then. In the mean time, find "old rigger" on this board. I think I've seen him mention something about Charger Boats before. I they were just one of a hundred or more SoCal 1970's jet boat companies that went under in the 70's.
