Hey Magic Mtn Dan,
Here is a fresh picture you requested. Just took the pic's this afternoon. :D They just finished painting it a few days ago. They have been nothing but awesome down there at Essex.
I don't know how to post the friggin' thing yet, but click the link, and I'll try to figure it out in the mean time!!

Great looking boat. I always liked the 22 Vortex, and now the 24 just makes it better.

When you post the pic; hit the button image, and then put the address in there; I think you used URL. When you use image, it will place the image tags around the address.

That has great lines to it. Is there a step in it or is that just the dolly I am seeing.???

Just a dolly, no step. I'm runnin' a 496 MAG HO. Essex tells me 70 mph+. Boat weighs about 3600 lbs. It is the 7th or 8th Valor built. Only 2 others w/ the 496HO. Demo model had a 496 mag w/ 375 HP. It ran about 63-65 mph in mild chop, 70 degrees outside.

MKenDog, it looks great, thanks for the picture update.
You said it weighs 3600# which is, I think, about 500# less than their Monarch 23' - I have to check with Essex about their boat weights to understand the differences between the two boats' weights.

Great looking boat! We'd all like to know how it handles the bigger chop when you get it wet. I'm looking at that model along with the 25' Bullet to replace the Sterling later this year or next.

I need to call there today, so I'll ask and get the info for you. I believe they told me the Valor weighs between the 22" Vortex and the 23' Monarch. But I'll confirm from them!
