does anyone know if you can launch and beach your boat at the AVI's if your not one of there hotel guest? there seems to be quite a few peeps that are staying up river at the casino's (Laughlin). will we be recognized as CBBB event members so we can put the boats on their beach without hassle :) :)

I launch all the time at the Avi..forget the Day Pass, it's $15 or $25 I think. I just slip the secrity guard at the ramp like 10 bucks and I launch..no prob !

I usually launch at Willow about 3-4 miles downriver on the other side of the river. Cost for non-residents is $10.

backtanner we too luanch from willow! maybe we'll see yuh there. :D
when boating down to havasu from the avi your fine if you have a jet. the gnarly spot is just south of willow marina. can be real tricky with an i/o. before 11am i'm not even going to attempt it anymore. there is a realy narrow channel(10')on the right. other wise stay WAY to the left and keep your eyes peeled. in the middle there is a rock bar that is completely exposed most mornings. the wise thing to do first time through there is watch someone with a similar boat go through and follow their exact line. with a jet you should be fine-no prob. when you got to the willow marina you about a 100 yards from it -tops. you should see a bouy. hope this helps.
