View Full Version : What are your product obsessions??

My dad had a house built in Cool, Calif.
The builder ripped him off installing a 3 ton cooling unit instead of a 5 ton.
The local A/C contractors are whores and wanted 7 grand to change it out to a 5 ton.
I loaded a new 5 ton in the truck and headed up there with my son to make it right for dad.
He had the brochures from the different A/C contractors and was adamant about Carrier.
Carrier because it's parent company is United Technologies (Pratt & Whitney aircraft engines)
The old man said during WWII, Wright made more powerfull aircraft engines, but Pratt made more dependable ones. A BFD when their's a lot of lead in the air. So it's Pratt and Whitney from now on.
Talk about stuck in your ways.
My obsessions are products made by 3M. If it's anything flat, 3M makes the best stuff in my book.
What are your product obsessions??

The AK-47 Assault Rifle. When you absolutely, positively gotta kill every mother ****er in the room... accept no subsitute!
In reality.
I don't veer from the Place diverter or controls for anything.
Second on the list would be Heinz 57 Ketchup. Why skimp here?

I generally avoid generic anything. My wife has figured out that saving a few cents isn't worth listening to me bitch, LOL.
Hey burb, funny thing about DeWalt, it was a dormant brand, out of business until Black and Decker revived it in the late 80's.
Using that snappy yellow color, some quality engineering, good product development and a marketing agreement with Home Depot they have captured a significant market share. Most people that buy DeWalt stuff would shit if they knew B & D owned them.
Good to know when you are disassembling that gearbox..... :p :p :p

I have to admit...out on the big road where everyone wants to drive a Peterbilt,I swear by my Volvo 770.It rides BETTER than my pickup, which is scary considering it weighs 20,000lbs.I prefer Astroglide most of the time, although EROS is good stuff too.But most of the time I prefer a little"foreplay"to moisten things up.Damn....I'm gonna be kicked out of the He-Man woman haters' club now for being sensitive....

There is a place off of Pacific and Florence that has 30 cent tacos and .50 cent beers. $10 bucks and you are full and feeling good.

Sure Fire flashlights and Benelli M1's with 14" barrels. Accept no substitutes in a warrant, 7.62X39's are too bulky in CQB and slugs just do the job faster.
Asics Gel Kayanos for running
Asics wrestling shoes for mat time
Sarfariland for holsters
And Botach.com to get the best prices on all your tactical needs.
