As crazy as is it sounds, I want to make sure I'm not at the river during the mad rush of spring break (my kids are 11, 9, and 6, all girls). Hoping to be able to take them April 11 through 20, '03.
So, is that going to be a wild time-period on the parker strip, ie: Colorado River Adventures, Emerald Cove Resort.
thanks for the info

I am in the same situation as you with kids and all being girls as well.In April the only way to escape the madness is to go up to Mead and go as far back into it as Temple bar or above vegas in the overton arm. :)

Maybe we'll just head over to southern Utah with the trailer and do some hiking and sightseeing. Since we are desert rats, we can wait till after spring break since the heat is part of our everyday life.

Last year, I went to Parker the last weekend of March, and first weekend of April. It was dead both times....went up to Havasu during the day one of those same weekends and it was a zoo...Parker is tame compared to Havazu during those Spring Break weekends.

you wont see any spring breakers in parker, maybe a couple of die hards that cruise down at night to go to the bar.
