Hello everyone... This looks like a great message board. I've visited here a few times, and finally decided to join in. My names John, and I'm a boataholic. I live in Las Vegas Nevada near the banks of the mighty Colorado.
The boating is hereditary. I blame my Dad. As a kid growing up in Southern California family vacation meant hooking the mahogany Chris Craft to the back of the ol' El Camino and heading for the river. I learned to ski, and ride a bike the same summer. It's the memorys of the vintage flatbottoms of the early sixtys that made me buy my present boat. It's a 16' Garage boat. I'm not sure what the mould was but it resembles an old beismeyer or a Speco. The title I have for it has ser# 0001 on it so I don't know if any others even exist. I've been restoring the boat for a while now, and hopefully I'll be able to put it in this summer. Thanks in advance for any help I get. Good boating to all.
