There's always a few things I really look forward to doing/seeing at the river every trip/season. One of them being Sunday breakfast @ Badenochs. They close for three months out of the year and I wasn't sure if they were going to be open yesterday. The crap shoot paid off! Man, I love taking the boat out for breakfast. Albeit it was quite chilly...it was a lot of fun. Always good conversation w/other folk, the kids fed the ducks, I watched my wife dance with my kids (got a little teary) & then we picked up some of their new shirts! On the way back, the kids and mommy were huddled on the floor wrapped in blankets. Almost zero hot rods on the water (expect those speedy bass boats & the hard core wakeboarder). Good time for me stretch her legs a bit (the boat), as it was the first time on the water this year.
Just one of the many reasons I love being at the river with my family!
I am one blessed dude!

I like Badenochs too!
My boyfriend's family first took me there a couple of year's ago for the first time!
They stay @Emerald Cove.
Glad you had a nice time with your family! Those are the days that really count!

It was just us four and we screwed around all weekend. Definitely quality family time.

Very good. I am not the best fisherman but do enjoy being out there with some friends who I have not seen in a long time. Going along the docks we caught a couple, had our best luck by the casino. It was really cold when you were underway, but we still had a good time.

It's because they take up too much space on the griddle. I'd guess they're really busy on the weekends. I've only been there for dinner, don't know about breakfast. Sounds like I'll have to try it next time.

True, but that's a clear case of descrimination if I ever heard it :D :D
Doin good D-no just workin and doing the school deal trying to keep out of trouble. When is your next trip out to Parker? I'm missing my river peeps, going into withdrawals. Hell today I drove around with the heater blasting and the windows up just pretending it was summer already  :D :D

Never knew you were the flapjack type...also didn't know they barred the jacks on the weekends. I always get an omlete, taters, english muffin, and some joe. :crossx:
