I have not seen one like yours...

we were wondering because it is suppose to be the only paint job like this and no duplicate was suppose to come out of that shop. It was a break the mold type deal. We have heard people tell us there is one out there. But we havn't seen it yet. Not even sure it is a DCB.

mrs flying vee, those tribals are so big it would be pretty easy tocopy, someone prolly saw yours, loved it and copied it!

I've seen a 28 like yours with similar graphics. It had trible in blue, but the yellow was grey, and the grey came back breaking up like water verses flame type lines. Oh, and the trible didn't follow those lines exactly, but when I saw it, I thought of your boat, but noticed the suttle differences. It was an open bow too, and had a triple axl grey trailer.

I think HBjet is referring to LakeShow's 28 Extreme, I mistook yours for his the first time I saw it, until I saw them both on the beach at our mini regatta. I thought I saw one like yours in Havasu a month or so back when you weren't in town, even being pulled by a lift Chevy HD, but it was a ways off from me and might not have even been a DCB, but definitely a big Vee with blue tribal and a yellow band.

I have the first Blue Tribal Flamed DCB with the grey that Xtreme22 is referencing. The next one out was one that looks almost identical to yours but it went up to Tahoe from what I understand.
Yours was probably the last one out and they aren't going to do anymore per your deal.
What do they say - a copy is the best form of flattery?

That is one beautifull boat, I could see why someone would want to copy it. Good luck copying the quality of your DCB. That is hard to do.

If somebody wants to copy your boat they will do it. It is all about $$$$$

It is all about $$$$$ Now Chris I'm still hearing a bit of DCB bashing in your tone. :p :D Just proddin ya man, I imagine if somebody has the money it would be hard for any dealer to turn em away over not duplicating gelcoat, but I'd like to think they'd steer em to something similar yet different. :)

Hey Chuck - how have you been? Were you out at the lake last weekend? Did you see Joey's new FX? It looked sharp on the water.

I think I have actually been pretty restrained :D
I still stick by my above statement though wink
Hope your having a good day Chuck.

I doubt if I've seen an exact copy, however just about all the new DCB's I've seen in recient years have been similar.
Nice looking rig, that's for sure.

Kilrtoy- you had me worried there for a second!
The more I look at both of these boats, the more I love the graphics of each. Good choice!

I think Flyin Vee's looks a little better. Maybe I'm biased I dunno. Plus that Scoop stickin out of the Flyin Vee's certaintly adds to the cool factor.

Hey Tony, I guess I haven't been paying attention here enough, I saw Joey's boat the weekend before Labor day, and it is one tough looking ride. So you think it looks sharp? not anything like an alligator? :D :p :D I didn't ask what motor went in it but it sure rumbled as it blew past me!

thanks to everyone for all the info. I was hearing there was one identical to ours and it was really making me  but if this is the boat there are quite a few differences. It is a good looking boat. Don't get me wrong. Boozer thanks for being partial. Thanks for the kind comments from everyone. I was currious about the other boat and want to thank everyone for posting the similair pics. I love this place. Everyone goes out of their way to help. Thanks again. :D
