I am thinking about going back to school and getting an ME degree and I just wanted to bounce some questions off people in here.

I tried CE for a year and a half at USC. They were the hardest classes I have ever taken. All I remember were math problems about a page long....sometimes longer. I have the utmost respect for engineers.

Going boating on the weekends or working in the garage in my spare time isn't doing it for me. I need to be challenged full time. I feel like I am taking the easy route in a cushy job and I need to change that before I wake up and I am 90 years old.
I mean, I spend at least 8 hours a day working and two hours commuting. Shouldn't it be something I enjoy?
