If you are near this place, please shoot me an e-mail. I'm having problems with an Ebay vendor from over there and would love for someone local to pay them a visit and see if the place is real/running or not. Thanks.

Is this a field trip that we all go down there at the same time?

Cool, thanks guys (and Mrs 909er) :) . Anyway, I won an Ebay auction for a barebones computer. Paid by Visa luckily, but the place is in City of Industry. Their online order tracking says it was built and went to "the wharehouse" back on the 17th. No info since then, can't get through on the phone, no reply to e-mails and their status on Ebay went from 16000+ to Not a registered user in the past 2 days. Not good for me.
Anyway, the place is http://www.ezbpc.com at:
15810 East Gale Ave Ste 610
City Of Industry CA 91745
Phone: (909) 595-5055
I know that's right off Hwy 60 at Hacienda. If someone was able to stop by, I think face to face usually gets stuff done. I'm interested to know if they are in business or what.
Thanks for any possible help guys!

Just wondering how much you won the computer for and what the specs are on it.
I am willing to bet I can build you the same thing if not better for less money and wont burn you on the deal. Same applies to anyone else on this board.

It was a pretty good deal, even with the rediculous shipping charges. $140 for a case, 300w PS, motherboard w/built in video, audio & LAN, AMD 2500+ w/heatsink/fan and shipping.
And that included the extra $10 for "next day rush build".

I know Up 4 River lives pretty close, he lives in Hacienda Heights. If no one has gone by today let me know and I will ask him to go by. I am sure he won't mind, it is on his way home from work and he likes to help out a fellow ***boater.

Whazz up-us locals want to know. From the area I'm guessing a Chinese or Korean owns it.

C-2 got me the scoop. Apparently it was one of those mailbox places...610 was his mailbox number, not the suite.
Well, he closed the box last week. So far, my card has only been authorized, not charged, so we'll see what happens.
Thanks everyone!
