Ok, the first 25 minutes is basically a rundown, little action. But how does a cop driving by, call in a possible 211 and know that he they have AK47's and body armor?

I may watch it considering it was taped two blocks from my house.

As every minute of the movie went on, it became more and more appearent that this was a "Hollywood" moment. The real news footage and the recordings from the police radio transmissions told most of the true story. I know this created alot of controversy in the community but it was a hell of a deal.

Minus that conversation they had at B & B looks good so far.

As far as not being able to shoot them in the head: You ever try shooting a hand gun 50+ yards at a 6" target thats moving AND shooting an automatic rifle at you? I would be happy to help anyone understand that experience and I know there are some on these boards that already understand it. BTW Berretta 92's are not the best gun for target shooting, far from it.
All of those officers who came out from cover to take any shot have more guts than most all of whom they protect.

I can't believe that out of some 300 cops, no one thought of that. They all must have been rookies
50 yards is conserative, it was alot more than that.
That is what cops do everyday, you just don't hear about it.

Thats why alot of agencies now have AR-15's.
If you ever get a chance to see the tape that the LAPD made after the incident it is INTENSE!!!
