MHO ~ If this keeps up and doesn't stop, it is just going to keep getting worse. And the worse it gets the more problems there are. :(
The words, situation and evidence were deleted, therefore people are going off memory and what other's say...Let's just move on...

Also I remember that topic was something like "what unit did you serve in?" I don't think that it also said come and reply and dog the military and any bad experience you had with them.
RD could have started his own thread, "What civilian occupation do you have that supports our troops?"
Nobody was right or wrong and I don't think any threats were made that would have been followed through with.
Now how is everyones boat coming along? :D

Its like watching train wreck. The carnage is just so fascinating. We have two pissed off alpha males and neither one is feeling that he has been vindicated. RD puts it in the hands of ***boat and then yells foul when it goes against him. Very Al Gore. And Froggy should have realized that anyone like RD probably would lose it over anything near a threat.
The vote is very close and is probably along 'party' lines. My view:
RD: Jumping in a thread for vets with an anti-military diatribe. Wrong
RD: Not apologizing immmediatelywhen you saw how upset you made your brothers in this forum. Wrong
Froggy: Making a threat, even if most of us knew it was in jest. Wrong
RD: Deleting Froggy's remarks. Major Wrong

"***boat hasn't stepped up and done the right thing.
I know personally that'll be the last time I ever ask him to make a 3rd party call for me, because IMO he's incapable of being impartial. "
I must be missing something here. What decision was I asked to make? How am I not being impartial. The only thing I have been asked to do was remove both Froggystlye and RiverDave as moderators. I am not angry at anyone and compared to some of the other stuff I have seen posted here this is small stuff. Seriously, RiverDave, what did you want to see? If you don't want to post it here PM me.

I know I should shut up, but RD, I think the apology was too little and too late. You also do not help when you always seem to make it sound like 'I'm sorry about being right'. I don't want to get on your case, but you stomped several people hard with your remarks. It is just like the Dixie Chicks. There are some transgressions that do not heal easy. I wish you well.

Stu, since we are close, feel free to drop by and give me an ass kicking...I can always use one, LMAO. Being that almost everyone on here knows how opinionated I am, it seems that what happened between these 2 was small potatos. Lets lock this thread, and move on to a new controversy. -DD Out

A threat is when someone or a group stakes you to the ground "ass up" pulls your trousers down to your ankles, takes a grenade, pulls the pin and inserts it into your rectal cavity.
That`s a threat!

"He was "clearly asked" to make a call on whether or not that post was a threat or not. (Via the editing issue with myself and Wes, and via a "reported post" by me) As a matter of fact to say that he wasn't clearly asked to make a decision on that post makes me wonder why in his original post he said (more or less) No rules were broken, there was no threat, and everything was within the rules of the website. (Why explain all that if no one asked him to make a judgement on the material that had been edited and then brought back)
The fact of the matter is
He was asked to make a "call" and he did make one. The outcome of that is what I questioned. (past tense). "
RiverDave asked me if I thought it was a threat. I said no. I still do not. I did not sit around and think about it for a day or anything like that, it is just what I though when I first read it. At that point in my mind it was a dead issue anyhow as the thread had been deleted.

He said though that he didn't think it was a threat (along with about half the rest the people who voted) Looks like a 60 - 40 deal to me.

Let me just make an analogy here:
Froggy making a threat towards RD is like the US making a threat towards IRAQ:
I CAN AND WILL KICK YOU ASS IF YOU KEEP UP YOUR SHIT, LOSER.
