My experience with RiverDave, one of the most famous guys on Earth...
Last year at Christmas I was in Rome, went to see the Pope give his annual blessing in St. Peter's Square.
A roar went up from the crowd as the Pope emerged on the balcony. Much to my amazement, standing next to His Holiness was RD, wearing his shades and lookin' good.
A guy standing beside me asked his buddy "Who is that on the balcony?". His friend replied "I don't know the guy in the funny cape and hat, but that fella next to him is RiverDave".
I took a photo of the occasion, but it's hard to pick out RD 'cause I didn't have a telephoto lens.
