I need a new boat cover, I have been through 3 of the cookie cutter type from Overton's and they don't fit correctly so it's time to step up to a custom made one. Anyone have any experience with any cover makers in So Cal area or Havasu area ?

Anyone have any experience with any cover makers in So Cal area or Havasu area ? I had Lee at "Cover Me Custom" do a cover for my 29 Cheetah that came out awsome. I told him what I wanted and let him do the rest, four years of use full time use in Havasu and its still perfect. I would highly recomend him if Havasu works for you. He has also done a custom cover for the Golf Cart, and the origional top cap cover that came with the boat when I bought it. All have been excellent...just FYI.

I had my cover made a couple years ago...by a place in Anaheim. It's a custom trailer cover (23' boat), and she even threw in two addional colors (three stripes) for $50 (they are usually $50 each)
I think it was $300.
I just had it washed and re-waterproofed- it still looks new.

Its a 21' Sunbrella tow cover with center vent pole, cleet flaps, two colors and two stripes. Cost was about $700 OTD. Nice quality. I checked with several places and they ranged from $600 to 800. Adlees has been around for a long time. I would recommend them. Here is a link:

I think I negotiated my matching bimini at the same time, so I could be wrong on the breakout.

I had one made for our 26' Party Cat last year....$800 and it covers the whole side...about 2 feet more than the ones from Advantage...and it's made out of the Sunbrella stuff. Other places quoted me $1000+ for the same thing....

I have a couple of friends that have used American Canvas in Montclair. They said he did an awesome job.

I went to Iboats.com and found a custom cover for my make and model. Also try www.coversearch.com. (http://www.coversearch.com.) They both list covers that are custom made for most socal custom builders models.

Custom Canvas did my sunbrella bimini and cover. They are not cheap, but you get what you pay for. I believe they do all of the bimini's and covers for Hallet.

Ditto on custom canvas. Ron has done all my covers best quality around.

I may be a fair distance from where you are looking, but I have a place here in town that makes some of the best custom boat covers in Canada. It is Denham Awning Makers here in Saskatoon. I am sure they can make you something pretty sweet and think of the advantage you get with the US/Canada exchange...
Take a look at www.damcovers.com (http://www.damcovers.com)
