Thought this would have got alot of replies,Here's one of our Quick & Easy Favorites (Make it at home & put in a jar to take to the lake to add to your Favorite cut of meat....
This is great on Chicken, Beef & Pork....
Mix together equal parts of: Soy Sauce, Vegetable oil & Red Wine...Usually a cup of each or enough to cover..Note** Less oil can be used if desired..
Add 1 or 2 large onions (Chopped).. Fresh Garlic,4 or 5 Clovis (Chopped)...Approx. 1Tbs.Pepper or to taste (Fresh ground is better)
And stir..This can be made ahead.. let sit at least 1/2 hour, then add your Favorite cut of meat..let marinate for 20 mins or to desired taste.. Grill as usual, Basting with leftover marinade...We're doing Rib Eyes tonight...Also excellent on ribs.... Make plenty..the Aroma will have the Neighbors peeking over the fence...
We reserve some of the marinade (before adding the meat) for dipping french bread in while BBQing... :D :D

For tender Ribs you should boil em for about 30 minutes before you grill em. As far as bar b q sauce goes, I have always used store bought stuff don't know how to make my own from scratch and its prolly to much of a pain to do anyways. Jack Daniels grilling Sauce is really good and there's also a brand called Stubbys that I absolutely love. Stubbys is really expensive but REALLY good.

Ingredients
 1 Warehouse Pak of Fresh Baby Back Ribs (Side Ribs will also do)
 2 1/2 cups CattleBoys BBQ Sauce
 2 heaping tablespoons crushed garlic
 4 tablespoons Louisiana Hot Sauce, 2 tablespoons Tabasco Sauce. You’re choice. Do both 1/2 cup Liquid Honey
 1 cup thin Teriyaki Sauce
 1/2 cup Soya Sauce
 Water
Sauce
 2 cups CattleBoys BBQ Sauce
 2 heaping Tablespoons crushed Garlic
 4 Tablespoons Louisiana Hot Sauce or 2 Tablespoons Tabasco hot sauce (or both)
 1/2 cup Liquid Honey
Instructions
 In a large roasting pan, combine 1/2 cup CattleBoys, 1 tablespoon garlic, 1 cup Teriyaki Sauce, 1/2 cup Soya Sauce, and mix together
 Cut Ribs into serving size portions and place into roasting pan
 Add Water until Ribs are 3/4 covered
 Cover the roaster and Par boil in oven at 325 degrees for approx 45 minutes (Not too long or they will be dry on the BBQ. They should just be partially cooked)
 Remove from oven, drain all liquids and let cool at room temperature while you make the BBQ sauce
 Pour the BBQ Sauce over Ribs making sure each piece of meat is generously coated (if you need more sauce… just make more)
 Let roaster of Ribs sit in refrigerator until you are ready to BBQ. You can even let these Ribs sit overnight in the fridge. They only get better the longer they sit.
 BBQ on med/high heat turning frequently. (The honey in the sauce will burn quicker than normal BBQ sauce)
 Keep in mind the Ribs are almost cooked when they come out of the oven so you only need to give them a nice, quick searing on your BBQ grill. If you want to make real sticky Ribs, have some more of this great sauce ready to baste every time you turn them on the grill
I dont know if you folks can get cattleboys BBQ
sauce down there but here's the website,
you won't be disappointed :D
