My kids are 7&8 and they want a wakeboard. I was at the boat show and everyone was trying to sell me these advanced boards, 119 and 124 boards each guy had there own opionion. I want a board that they can get up on and then I will buy them a better board. I think I want a 124 board. If anyone has any used boards or any good ideas I would love to here them.

Overtons has some cheap stuff. I think they have scratch and dent boards too. www.overtons.com (http://www.overtons.com)

SJ, go to Got River (http://www.gotriver.com). Josh at Got River will take good care of you & give you advice on the right board for your needs. For the most part he can beat the other prices around. Not sure if he can beat a blow-out sale? Tell'em I sent ya.

My 7 year old rides a Hyperlite Kids Unite Motive 119 it is perfect for little guys , a 124 would be to big for 7 -8 year olds. The kids Unite is not very aggresive take the forward fin off for the first few times up and all will be fine ,

You might want to post on Wake World.com (http://www.wakeworld.com) and see if anyone is selling a used kid's boards. If not, I go to Wakesports Unlimited in Orange. Talk to Chris, is a great guy to work with and will help you out. I have bought two boards from him so far.
