timing

ok well the 383 stroker is in the car now , and i was a dork and forgot to right down what the timing should be set at , was wondering if any of u engine guys out there could make a suggestion ,
cam 234/244@.050 and 488/510 lift , and i have 9.3:1 compressiong ratio
any input would greatly be apriciated

There is no specific timing, I'd start at 38 and go from there and experiment, what ever works the best without detonation!..

34 should get you in the ballpark.

yea i got it set at 14 at 1000rpm and its at like 34 at 2500 , the carb is burping a lil bit but i think thats just from bad fuel
