I saw an article on that bike. Independent suspension to all four (yes 4) wheels. That's a Viper V-10 motor in there with a theoretical top speed approaching 400 MPH. They are considering building a few at around $250K ea. Any takers?

And it turns how?
Nevermind, just saw 126's post.

With 4 wheels, doesn't it fall under the category of an automobile as far as safety laws go?

How would it corner?.

No Helmet :D :D :D At a theoretical speed of 400mph what is cornering? They say all for are IFS so it sounds like all four would still be on the ground.

Unless there is one HELL of a lot of suspension travel there is no way you could get that thing around a curve or corner and keep a four on the road!!
Looks to me as if you tip up on two wheels at a time when leaning into a corner or curve and run on all four in a straight line only wink

The Bike's speed was quoted as being around 270-300, and even though there are 4 wheels the two side by side wheels are connected to their own independent suspension. They look they are connected, but they will seperate although close. They utilized more rubber due to the HP hitting the road, but they are independent for turns.

270 - 300MPH? That sounds more like it but the article I read on Yahoo said 400. Whatever the case, that's still hauling the mail.

IF this ever does get produced, id bet my boat JAY LENO will step up to the plate! Whats 250K, like maybe a fews days pay. A good friend of my fathers was up at the ROCK STORE and Leno pulled up on one of those JET powered/turbin motorcycle's. I was told or saw that they where 250K ish, bad ass although. No rear view mirrors has a video screen on the dash that shows you rear view.....and huge top end as well. Who say's money cant buy happyness?

If Leno winds that thing up to about 240mph and gets off after some speed wobbles maybe he'll land face first and fix his chin.Maybe his mouth will be gone too so we don't have to listen to anymore lame GW Bush jokes.
