Drove home from Phili to L.A. in 36 hours straight. We flew in on Sept 10 (we know what happened on 9/11) so could not get a flight home. We took the rental car and drove home at the end of class.

WOW eek! That's a pretty dusty column for a car with only 14k on it. :p

Listen buddy, if you drive like that around me or my family, I'll pull the piece out of my glove compartment and blast your dangerous ass.

The thought did cross my mind Info, but I just had my mind set on getting home. I stayed in Okie City Friday night, correction, that should read, I died in Okie City on Friday night. Got up and hauled ass Saturday morning early and didn't look back. Sorry man. :D

Look like a Chevy HD to me.
By the way, you can drive like that around me anytime you want. I could use someone that's not afraid of the pedal on the right in front of me for a change.
How much toll money did it take you to get out of the state of Oklahoma?? :)

3800 miles in 84 hours. Sierra Vista, AZ to Rapid City, SD to Mexico, MO to Sierra Vista. Left Thursday noon, ate dinner with the folks in Vermillion, SD friday evening. Breakfast in Mexico. Slept and partied in Chetopa, KS. Left Sunday morning and hit SV just after midnite.

Jordy, I here you are going to be at the races in Chandler in a couple weeks. Come by and introduce yourself. We will be with boat 535 Top Alcohol Flat. It is all white. I have a buddy coming out from OKC and he plans on making the trip in under 3 hours. He is flying.

Jordy, is that the new Duramax? That kicks ass that they put a transmission temperature gauge in the cluster.

Let's see here... I spent $7.00 in toll roads to get around Oklahoma. Three fiddy to get to Tulsa, and another three-fiddy to get from Tulsa to Okie City.
JBG, the rumor is true that I'll be at the races, I might even sign an autograph or two... wink
He had better be getting here in less than three hours as it only took that long to get from Phoenix to Detroit on the flight out. Dammit, I missed my return flight tonight, thanks for reminding me. How am I going to get home now????
Yes Tom, that's the new Duramax, and it's by far the most impressive truck I've driven to date (not just this one, overall, versus the Come-a-part and the Power-suck, although I haven't played with the new 6.0 liter). You just can't go wrong with that Allison tranny either, granted I'm kinda partial as I work for the Allison dealer here in town. :D

Can you get me some info on why my Allison bangs into gear on the first shift into drive each morning? Of course the local GMC dealer couldn't diagnose the problem and tried to tell me that it was "normal". Yeah, bullsh_t! Didn't used to do that. Now it's out of warranty and I'm just waiting for the whole thing to take a dump. They also told me that they're not allowed by GM to work on the Allison, that they basically have to replace the whole thing as a sealed unit. Great...

I must have missed something here Jordy...Did you go all the way out there to buy this truck or what? Why so far? Seems there would have been one closer.....Whats the story for us late listeners? :D

:D :D wink No jackass, and I'm not quoting your cross country fantasy ad again, I meant that after driving 1000 miles on three hours of sleep on a plane the night before, I was spent. I pulled into the hotel and died. Clear enough you homo? :D
