Steve Van Demon at Absolutely Custom Paint in Anaheim. He designed the gelcoat scheme on our boat and air brushed the name and CF #'s

Check out the "Paint Shop" hey remember when it was "paint by pete" I had him paint my very first raceski way back in about 1986. It was the first jetski pete ever did. I lost contact with him after he moved from Mission ave in escondido. Glad to see he's still around and spraying.

Hey FUFU,
I WAS going to get my boat painted. I decited to wait till I have $$$ and redo the gel. I got a guy that works at a custom paint place, killer work, he was gonna do it on the side. It is paint, not gel. Here in Norco. He was gonna put a killer 3 tone with grafix on my 18' for $1200. Thats with airbrush. I was gonna help him sand. Let me know if you want his number.

It cost me almost $700.00 in materials to paint my golfcart body. Do some research and make sure he will be using quality materials although, it would really suck to have to redo it in a few years....just my 2 cents

He was gonna "get" the paint from his shop, they do a lot of work. I think its a great deal, but I want to keep the original gel.
Keep in mind, he wanted me there to help. Mask and sand. I still think its a great deal!!

hi fufu. there's a guy over in stanton that has been doing glass work on boats since the 70's he's known for high quality work. he's not in the phone book(i just looked) but if need be i could call over to john's custom marine and get the number. my buddy was gonna have a 17.5 ft bayliner done there and the estimate was 1800 for something just kinda plane. oh and that was with fixing a hole in the transom. let me know. -jas.

Would not think he's the cheepest but you get what you pay for. Your pal should check out his work for sure. Billy can be found in the v drive forum. But you will have to wait until next week as he's at CFW kicking some Nor Cal ass as we speak.
