A friend of the family is looking at a 58' sportfisher. He asked if I knew of anyone that could check the boat out. So I'm asking you fine folks for any recommendations for Marine Surveyors or inspection services in the San Diego area. Is 4000hrs alot of time on diesels? What are some other things or problem areas to look into besides plumbing, electrical, power and overall structural and interior wear?
Thanks for the input,
Slick (hoping to have a boat to stay on in SD)

That might be a sight to see considering it drafts 4'8" Maybe one of those new fangled dual jet drives would do the trick idea
