I work on my boats, dream of the river thawing and drink some beer. I also like to snow-mobile and ski. The sledding is almost as much fun as boating. Get together with a few buddies and blast up some rivers and creeks at night is more fun than one person should be allowed. The sunday afternoon bar hops in all the small towns can be fun too (on sleds).

Jungle Boy...What kind of a sled do you ride? The trails in Cannada are really something. We did a five day trip in Qeubec a few years ago. Stayed in a different town each night. Crossed the Baskaton resivor. We put on about 900 miles. We had a great time.
Most of the time we ride Tug Hill in up-state NY. Old Forge area. I can ride from my front door. That makes for alot of short trips.

It's a fun sled that I don't have much money into. For the sledding we do, it's good. We generally blast around the house and out west. I have thought on replacing it this year, but with building a new race boat, I can only spend so much of my hard earned cash on toys. If a good deal comes along, I'll get a new one for the little woman though. :D

Snow skiing! And the boating season doesn't ever really end in SoCal. Just dodge the storms and put on a thicker jacket!

What is the appropriate sound effect for a thumper? Buuuuuuuuurrrrrrrp? Yeah that's my 00' WR400F. The first thumper I ever owned. Well, as far as my dirtbikes go anyway. It's got the bottom but it revs to 13k. Get the 450. You wont be sorry. I like the Honda CRF also, but they don't come with Wide Ratio trans and lights. I ride in the mts mostly and sometimes get caught in the dark. idea
Nothing like that sound off the starting gate Brrrrraaaaaaappppppp! Then the quick silence of the first turn. Everyone braking, shifting, picking their line. It gives me goose bumps.
Yeah, pretty soon, I'll have to change my tune, cause all the commie tree huggers think that two strokes are killing the endangered Kangaroo Rat.
Brrrruuuuuuuuuuppppp,,,,bumble,bumble,bumble,,,POP !
