Havasu weekend!

Man, what a great time in Havasu! We hit the lake Friday and Saturday! Oh yeah and Kokomos at night. Here's a couple of pic's.
We stopped in at the Boat Brokers to see Wild Bill before we hit the water and invite him to dinner at the Golden Horseshoe that night. They had one of those motorized bar stools there. Donnie had to ride one. Lucky he didn't break his ass! Also lucky they couldn't take a credit card for $1400 or we'd be trying to figure out how to stick that thing in the back of the Suburban :D

We met a a couple with a 26 AO, they ran with us and blown23sleek to Park Moabi Saturday.

Chuck, XTRM22, put a lot of work into the DCB gathering even though he was fighting a bug all weekend. Sandbar Junkie's friend was making these trick prop wrenches.

Saturday we were tear assing up the river. This guy came beside Donnie three times to race and three times was turned away :) We pulled onto the beach by the I-40 bridge hoping they'd pull over. His boat ran in the 90's so we wanted to see what he had. His wife was smiling and waved, but he wouldn't look over or stop. Just went back to the restaraunt :confused:

Saw two really trick turbo set ups this weekend. Both in deckboats! I think one was a Magic and one was a Conquest.

Hey Guys awsome weekend, I saw your group runing down from topock, I was beached a few miles up from sandbar, The guy in the red and white checkered daytona is a friend of mine, he's running a pro-charged 509, Hard to tell being he doesn't have a scoop on it (sneeky) that ride has much better than 100mph in it, Erlier that day his wife was telling me the rule is he couldn't do over 90 with her in it.

Yeah, Mike, we figured he was blown given the speed he could run and the water from an assumed intercooler coming out constantly :) He was certainly running more then 90 mph that day! Donnies GPS read about 102 during those runs and we didn't pull him that much. I figure he was running about 95. That's why we pulled over to bs with him but he wanted to eat I guess :D

Thanks for the pics Craig. wink I'm pretty sure I ran that guy last summer. We were around 91 or so, dead even. It looks like we both did a little massaging since then.

Ya we are blue flamed, I saw a ton of boats I recognized last weekend, I just wish I can keep all the names straight. Hopefully see you guys next weekend.

Anyone know who runs the "Havasu Hot Laps" boat? That boat nearly swamped me over the weekend! Took a wave over the bow, a good 20-30+ gal when it blew by me exiting the river into Havasu lake. Not really his fault, I had slowed to negotiate all that fricken grass shit since I wasn't going fast enough to glide over it, luckily I had turned enough to head into his wake instead of taking it from the starboard side. :cool: All in a days fun on the water. :D
