It's about 150 miles from Havasu to Yuma, and there should't be many snowbirds left. Also they
have redone 95 through much of Quartzsite. I believe mostly 4 lane.

Clean out your PM's You cannot get any more until you delete some.
We would have graduated the same year. I moved off before then. Military brat and all. Bojangles rings a bell but that was too many brain cells ago.

Info, cleaned them all out. eek! Bojangles was the bar right by the Military base. They actually closed it down in 84 or 85 because someone from the bar ran down 5 marines walking back to the base (from the bar also) and killed 3 of them. It was really heartbreaking. How long did you live in Yuma? Ever miss it? I used to go out there and watch the "Harrier" (sp?) jets take off, it was amazing.

Used to watch harriers from my bedroom window. By that time I was used to them. Lived on Base in El Toro, CA and Kaneohe, HI before that.
I will PM everything I remember about those days. I am amazed how much just came back thinking about it on the way home from work.

Used to frequent Senators Wash there for many years..never did like the lack of water level in the river itself though.
Had some wild parties in the good ol' days around the backside of Senators. eek!
Ah yes, remember the things we called Jet Ski's before they put seats on the damn things? Those were the days. cry
