Sounds like a good time. I still have one more shift to go, then I'll get to go work on the boat... and drink beer.

No, I still have about 7 hours of a 12 hours shift to go. Will do the same tomarrow, then I get to work on the boat.

Best part is I get a week (actually 9 days in a row) off every month. All this and money too! :D :D

They pay you, how do I get a job like that. When I look back at my week and amount of hours, it works out to 1.53 per hour (seems that way)

I just kind of fell into this gig, I went to school for electronics and got hired on here about a year later. That was 7 years ago.
Lots of nights, weekends, and holidays though.
I'll miss OP6V, sure would like to be there. Working the weekend that week.

I work of the power company in Durango as a Power System Operator. Basically, I am like a traffic controller for the power system.
Lots of down time, but it get's busy when the crews are working or there are a lot of power outages.
