I whacked the thread. (And yes Wes I took some pleasure in it)
Now if ***boat would remove my name from that moderators list I would be much appreciative.
Usually I ask the moderators if what I did was "right or wrong" but to be honest at this stage in the game I don't much give a shit. I figure the worse they can do to me is boot me off the little moderator team, which I no longer want to be a part of anyways. All that being a moderator is in short is taking shit from everyone and getting absolutely nothing in return, except a T-Shirt (which I never recieved in the mail anyways. Damn I could've sworn I've heard that before on this website)
I will have you know though, that I didn't whack it for some stupid reason of losing a battle or anything like that. (Which I'm sure some jackass is going to try to make it out to look like that)
I whacked it, becuase I feel it was detrimental to the site, and the sites reputation.

I have been trying to ignore this, but people just keep brining it up. I read the thread as the problems were starting, but I think you are missing something. The thread got deleted. What I read did not contain anything threatening. I think people assume I can read deleted threads and I cannot. There is no partial or impartial here. No one has been punished here and I do not think it is required. Besides that even using the word punished when referring to a on-line forum is stupid. I have not banned anyone since I took over as admin, the most I have had to do is lock a few posts and delete some porn.
To clarify, I am not mad that RiverDave deleted the thread. He was a moderator and as a moderator he had the right to do so because he felt it was necessary. I might not have deleted the thread, but that means nothing. I gave RiverDave the power to delete threads, and if he felt it needed to be deleted that is it. There is no evil plotting going on here and my only agenda is to get the forums back on track as a boating forum.
