I'm a big baseball fan, I should say Red Sox fan. But it seems to me if he was doing this all along he would have been found out already. They break bats all the time. I'm not condoning it but I think he should be given the benefit of the doubt. If it was deliberate it is sad because the great career he has had is going to be tarnished forever. People always remember the bad a lot longer than the good. :)
