Tthey've been on the lakes here for a few years in Alberta. They can sneak up on you better, I'm sure.

They are on the river all around the Avi casino too.

Well we can only hope it ultimately is good news for boaters - with cops on PWCs maybe they'll be able to finally spot the lake lice at their worst without being spotted first (hopefully the PWC Cops won't have them equipped with huge overhead flashing lights).

Yep, I had my first real close encounter with some lake lice on Sunday. We took some friends to Laughlin for the W/E and spent most of the time on Mojave above cottonwood(Great Time) BUT, Sunday we launched at the AVI and cruised out to Parker Dam, On the way to Needles a couple of young girls(12 y/o at best) spun a 360 at about 35 mph in the worst possible place. We almost speared them! Unbelievable. The rest of the drive down wasnt much better. We wont be taking the 25 that way anymore!
