Anyone want a free puppy?

I know, this is hot boat & not the dog pound - but a friend of a friend found 9 puppies over the weekend in a trash can and is trying to find homes for them. The family is only going to keep the puppies for this week and then they'll take them to the local pound. The puppies appear to be about 2 weeks old and look like their mixed with rott. They are a combo of black/brown.

I would take one - but the hubby would kill me!

I'm going to spread the word to all my doggie loving friends and our dog club...please e-mail me regarding these pups...I will send these pictures out and help as much as I can!
Keep me posted on what's going on with them...A pound can be detrimental at such a young age...they will learn WAY TOO many negative habits in the kennels it might ruin their chances of developmenting properly and becoming dogs that poeple will want frown

There are rescue sites that will pay for rescue dogs to be flown across the US...if you're serious you should ask your locally privately own rescue sites if they would be willing to help you get the puppies or puppy to you.

She called the lady & their answering maching says the puppies are no longer available. So, I guess the found homes.

Well, the first dog definately has some Rott in it. I looks like a Rott/Sheppard mix of some sort. You can tell by the brown markings on the face, chest, and legs. My little 7 week old Rott looks similar. The ears look like sheppard ears. The other pup looks totally different. Are all these pups from the same litter? :confused:

How sad that someone feels as if these little lives are not worthy of love. How would they feel if their mother did that to them. ( she should have)If I ever ran into a person so heartless, I would have to KICK some ass.

guess what? They are the same pups. Just seems funny that 2 weeks ago those pups were found in a dumpster and last weekend they were again found in a trash can.

I have a friend (believe it or not LOL) who has a cat rescue. He also rescues dogs from time to time and gets all their shots, gets them spayed or nuetered. Then he adopts them out. I will see if he can take them. If he can't, he might know someone who will. I'll let ya know.
