Reckless,
It's hard to believe that you are that obsessed with your brand of boat that you need to try and make others feel inferior on a public forum. Please click on this link and you will see a picture of my family style offshore boat that is of course not even close to being as superior as your fine offshore machine.
P.S. this is not my boat my graphics are different. www.powerquestboats.com (http://www.powerquestboats.com)
Kind of strange how a family style 38 footer can run 79.8 with 500's.

Don't get your panties in a bunch 'tude. I honestly like the boat. All this crap started as bullets slung amongst friends and to harass the new boat owners while passing the down time of winter. And yes frankly, it has gotten a TAD bit off course. A few cocktails at the keyboard makes one a bit frisky... http://free.***boat.net/ubb/biggrin.gif
I'll take heat for this but for the record, and for those of weak constitution:
I do believe the PQ is a great bargain (specifically the 340 like my buds just purchased recently) and it's a small mfr like mine; made in Mich, like mine; don't have the advertising dollars, like mine; and therefore makes for a great rivalry and fodder for these posts. Granted, they've been heated (more than expected) but mostly funny as hell, at least from my secure end. If you've read them all or most, there's been no "bashing" for "bashing" sake just heated rhetorical reponses to each other and that's par for the course over the winter months...
Merry Christmas...
and ENJOY your 38...with Attitude... http://free.***boat.net/ubb/wink.gif

I'll second that Reckless (being one of the guys involved it the mud slinging)! It's been fun and yes it has gotten a wee bit off course. Still good fun until the spring weather arrives. Can't wait!
Ding, ding; Round 2. LOL

I also think it's enough. Please understand that when you are looking from the outside the jokes can look a lot more serious than the authors intentions.
Can you imagine what the manafactures must think if they started reading the posts? (actually I think thats kinda funny).
I have recieved a few emails to jump into this conversation and that plus the heated slamming got me involved. I would love to see you guys for the first run of the year and the stories (excuses) after, now that would be funny. http://free.***boat.net/ubb/wink.gif

'Tude/Scott:
Concur with what you've said about "on the outside looking in" especially since those on the "inside" have been a tad concerned lately too. Of course one doesn't realize he's caught in the mud until he's all dirty but then he's stuck...
Honestly right after I made this particular posting here to carry on the bantor, I attempted to erase it but unlike OSO I couldn't. So I was stuck with it... http://free.***boat.net/ubb/mad.gif
Also FYI this morning I made my peace with it all and made a "fess-up" post on the OSO Sunsation site to break this vacume we "slingers" have been caught in due to our type A+ personalities and obvious competitive natures.
We were all together in fact last night at a club h-hour. Yeah, there was some grimacing at first but I think it all ironed out in the end. We'll all be together in force New Year's Eve as well and I think the year will start out as good, and possibly better, as it did last year when we intially formed our club...
