I grew up in Pleasant Grove Utah but have lived in
Havasu for about 7 years. When I was in Utah,
there was a small crowd of high performance boat junkies in SLC and in Utah County. Tomlinson and
the Kelson brothers etc.-- they're still there.
How's the weather?

Nope Ed, your not the only one. I am in Highland, not too far from you  So what you got?
Keith, You must have moved away about the time I moved in. I am jealouse, I wish I could have moved to Havasu instead of here
Haven't seen Tomlinson or the Kelsons for awhile, for some reason the Thursday night gang kinda dwindled.

Hey Powellrunner, neighbor. We are here at Page and the water is still dropping. It should be an interesting season on the big pond.

Ed, I run an Advantage 22 Sport Cat. Motor is out of it right now. Hope to have it back together by first of March. I don't have a particular lake I frequent. Just go where ever.

Ed,
I detonated #5 and mushroomed an intake valve in #6. Bad gas we are figuring. Just trying to locate an "honest" machine shop. Took my parts to one but they lost track of what I was wanting them to do.
Pick up my stuff from him today. Ording pistons this week. Have to go 40 over to clean up #5. But having a hard time locating .040 Blower pistons without going custom.
Know of any takeouts floating around the valley?

I sure don't miss that snow stuff! Hey Tee: in
Lindon go check out Richard Tomlinson on state
street. He owns Tomlinson Auto Body and he's the
best painter I've ever seen. He owns a 31' American Offshore that runs over 120 mph. He had
it on the cover of Powerboat Mag in Oct 1997!
Great people to boat with. Then the Kelson brothers in SLC area each have new 28 Daytonas
with way too much horsepower too! Then there's
Paul Stanworth in Orem with a blown HP500 in a
new 28' Nordic Heat. Those guys are all boat
freaks who love the go fast thing.
Hope that helps you to get acquainted! Good luck
in the snow.
