Racial stereotyping...Ponch goes undercover and they give him an old beaner rig complete with fuzzy dash and hanging fringe.He's trying to catch the crackers who steal Torino station wagons.

Racial profiling...Ponch's undercover rig gets heisted by a couple of Mexican kids.They rear end another car which jams the horn on full-time playing"La cucaracha".So now the cops are looking for 2 Mexican kids in L.A. in a car with a horn that plays La Cucaracha.Sounds like profiling to me!!!
