Getting ready to buy an F350 with an 8 inch lift and 38 in tires. Where can I get a hitch for my reciever that will tow my boat at the right angle? Not sure how to measure. Thanks in advance

i have an excursion with an 8 inch lift and my drop down hitch is 12 inches it should be the same for your truck that drops down to about 19 inches from the ground
if there is a 4 wheel parts close by to you i would go there and check

Actually the standard height should be 18" from the ground up and your trailer would sit level. But 12-13" sounds right...I would still measure though wink

The main peice is 3/4" steel, there is then a 1/2" thick steel gusset that supports the drop and goes all the way down.

I am not really sure if chrome plating will affect the structural integrity of the ball mount but you would have to keep up on it and not let the finish detriorate. If the chrome peels, rusts and exposes bare metal you have to get it bead blasted and cover up those welds immediately. Welds love to break when they are rusted out wink

You have a 16" drop on your truck? Seems like it would be hanging pretty low. What size lift is that and tires?

38" tires and about 10" of lift on a 2500 dodge which correlates to about 12" of lift on a 1500 dodge which is about 15-16" of lift on a 1500 chevy wink jawdrop

I have an F350, 8inch suspension, 38" swampers, 12" hitch drop, exactly 18" from the middle of the ball to the ground, my trailer is perfect, I purchased the drop of The Hitch Depot in Monrovia California, and they will make anything.
