Don't have one, but have done a little research..the cleanest kit that appears to have the best numbers is the Holley kit.

Call my buddy George Simon in Beverly hills. He is owner of motor doctor. He is real tight with the Whipple Family. He installs about 15 superchargers a month. I just took his intercooled supercharged 2003 suburban for a spin. Awesome. Anyways he is at 310-652-1968. Real stand up guy. Just let him know that your a friend of Les. I just got a set of breyton inspirations for my 540 last month from him. 18X9.5 with bridgestone potenza's s-03 for about 2g out the door. Hope this helps. Also Mopar2ya used to save one on his f-150 4x4 ran real nice.He installed it himself, so I'm sure it wasn't working 100% :)

Hey Tobtek, a company by the name of Powerdyne makes all of Ford Motorsports Superchargers, at least they did when I purchased mine. Anyways, it is the same charger that is on the Lightnings.
Output is right near 6PSI and can find them all over for $2495.00 Doing a little shopping, I've seen them as low as $2195.00. Installation is not bad. I would imagine you could get it installed for $500 smackers.
If you could get yourself a hold on a Ford SVO Motorsports catalog you'd find them there. I bought mine from Raceview Ford, or was it Raceway Ford  , can't remember which. I paid $1995.00 out the door, 2 years ago, and used a resale # wink .
Hope this helps, and sorry bout the ramblin.

I had a Paxton NOVI 2000 on my 93 Lightning putting out 15psi. No words can describe the feeling. Now I have a 2002 Harley F-150 with a Eaton blower It's putting out 13psi. There are many company's out there just pick the one you like the best. You won't be able to go over 6 psi unless you upgrade your fuel system, and you will have to get your computer reprogrammed. Good luck

booon my Lightning I built the motor to handle the boost. That NOVI 2000 can make up to 25psi. On my 02 Harley F150 it came with the Eaton making 6psi I changed the lower pulley and reprogrammed my computer for that amount of boost.

my first concern is HOW RELIABLE are these kits?

I would try and ask that question over on the board at www.f150world.com (http://www.f150world.com)
They have a blower section, and more folks that have installed and run the different types.

Toby,
Lone Star Rage on the River Racer X board recently installed one on his F150 Super Crew. I'm sure he could give you the scoop on all they details.

my first concern is HOW RELIABLE are these kits? Tob, I don't have any experience other than the Powerdyne, so I can only respond on it. I never had any problems whatsoever. I did upgrade the fuel pressure regulator to increase pressure a bit. With only runnin 6 pounds you shouldn't encounter any probs. Very simple install, somewhat inexpensive, and I'm sure you'll be impressed wink Proper normal maintenance, along with runnin 91 oct and you'll be set.
Did you happen to call Fairway?
BTW, Les knows how the truck ran, and I believe he left some .02 cents earlier. If you want I'd be happy to find out more info and let you know.

I put a MagnaCharger on mine, the install was a fairly complex one but the lowend tourque is great for towing, but it is 4K deal by the time you are finshed

WHO THE HELL BROUGHT THIS ISSUE UP. I HATE THE FOCKER, NOW I WANT TO SUPERCHARGER MY SUPERCREW Nah don't do it, you would not like it, better mileage, if you can keep your foot out of it, more power, don't do it. But seriously the downside is that if you don't drive tham for a long time it is almost impossible to recoup the $$$$ you shelled out doing the Blower. I added mine up last night and I have almost 12K bolted onto mine, and the NADA says it is worth 24K, do you think anyone would shell out 36K for a 2001 with 51000 miles on it eek!

have done some checking and it looks like everyone that want to supercharge their trucks should stay away from Powerdyne. I have read very little good and much bad about fit, finish, and customer servive...here is a link to a review site on the company....http://www.carreview.com/Superchargers/Powerdyne+Superchargers/PRD_2186_2877crx.aspx

I would change out the gears to 4:10's first. With your tires it should put you in the 3:90 range which is a nice all round gear. Cost for 2 sets is around $1200 installed. Disconnect the front and it's 1/2 price.

I work for Truckin' Magazine and we have installed the Magna Charger unit on a 4.6 equipped SuperCrew. The supercharger works great and made some impressive power gains. Look at Truckin' October '01 at an article called "Charge It" to get the skinny on the install. For a Ford a Magna Charger is the way to go. They make all the factory Eaton superchargers for the Lightning and Toyota Tacoma's. You could also look into Kenne Bell.
