im converting the trialer for my 18 ranyson craft from single axle to tandem axle but im not sure where to locate the center pivot on the springs, im am unable to put the boat on the trailer for tounge weight any idea thanks

I'm thinking if the balance was good then locate the pivot where the center of your present axle is to retain a similar tongue wt. if you want a little more tongue wt slide rearward a couple inches. :confused:

Thanks Floored i think your right, im gonna do some measuring in the parking lot at naci this weekend and see what i come up with, maybe talk to a few guys, thanks for the help though

That makes sense. Certainly take a look at some similar set ups in the marina parking lot. Take a tape measure and check distances.
Call a trailer builder and ask them....I would think most would be helpful.
