Anyone know the rim with a red M in the center cap? Perhaps its a W for Walker Evans. Also 8" kits. Is Fabtech worth it. 400 more and I get SkyJacker. `99 Wrangler. Is someone here hooked up with a distributor? Found 2400.00 for 8" and 2700.00 for 10" SkyJacker kits with dropped pitman. I think the 10" uses the spring spacers for the extra 2". Anyone use them before. I don`t trust them. Wanna run 39.5 swampers. Lookin` for rock crawler bumpers(shorties).

Hoss,
If you can break that down a little bit so I can understand what it is you're asking I can probably help. I own a truck accessory store. We do a lot of lifts. I should be able to tell you if you are getting a fair price or not on anything.
You're post is a little hard to understand.

8" or 10" lift
SkyScraper kits I found for 2400.00 and 2700.00 respectfully.
Fabtech has an 8" for 400.00 cheaper.
Rims- in 4Wheel mag I see these beadlocks with a red "M" on the center cap. Maybe its a red "W". Do you know what rims I`m referring too?
I want to buy rock crawler bumpers for my `99 Wrangler. The short ones or narrow.
How does SkyScraper make a 10" lift kit? Are they using an 8" kit with coil spacers? Are coil spacers good for highway use? Are alignments held true with them? I plan on running 39.5 swampers.

Hoss,
To run 39"s you are going to have to gear down. 10" Lift on the rig is to much IMO. I have ran jeeps for years and never been in one set up like that, that did well off road. If your are just going for looks go for it, but if you want to do it right go with 33" x 8" x 15" and a 6" ski jacker lift with air lockers and quick dis-connect sway bars. cHECK OUT 4WHEELPARTS.COM OR JCWHITNEY.COM.
bEAD LOCKS ON THE STREET ARE OUT LAWED AND WILL TEAR UP YOUR TIRES, BUT I THINK THE ONES YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT ARE JUST THE LOOK A LIKES.
Just my .02 DICK HEAD! :D

No, what year Jeep. Leaf springs suck. Everyone I`ve talked to says they`re lifted TJ rides better than stock. Gear down? NO! I was gonna run 273`s and see if my clutch smokes at the stop sign. RockLox by offroadonly are DOT bead locks. I am going with an 8 but wanted more info on the 10. Like is it an 8 with 2" spring spacers.
Anus breathe :D
