Hey guys my Dad has decided to part with his baby. It is a 1989 454 with 22,800 miles. He was going to make it a show truck, but decided just to use it to tow a trailer. He never bought a trailer, so he didn't drive it much. It has a 5"/7" drop from the drop shop, air bags, a hide a hitch, polished aluminum rims, Flowmaster 2 chamber and is unbelievably clean! Interior is ultra clean, and still has the stock radio. There's a bedliner in it too. He's asking $12,500 and the truck is in Corona. You can call him @ 909-738-9279

Didn't the body style change in 89?? The body style changed on the half and three quarter ton trucks in 1988. I believe in 1989 you could get an ex-cab dually with the new style. It wasn't until the early 90's (don't remember exactly) that the crew cab dually changed over to the newer body style.

In 88' the 2 door ext cab dually was released and it had the newer boady style. In 92', the Newer body style crew cab was released. In 94', the front grill changed for the chevy's, in 95, the dash changed, etc....

That's a really clean truck. I had the same thing in an '88 and it was always a hassle getting parts at Checker and Autozone because the computers didn't recognize that it was the old body style, so I had to get parts for an '87 every time.
HB's right (where's Chet, I'm jumping on the HB bandwagon now... :D ) '92 was when the crew-cab body style changed. The extended cab changed in '88 on the duallys.
I think that is still my favorite body style though.
