Why does'nt someone have decals made up with the new logo? Silver letters on a clear background would look nice.It would be good advertisement for the forum if we all had one in our back window. You could sell them in the store or just give them away. I would like to order 4 of them.

Tee Shirts: We have some new clothing coming soon. No new tee shirts, but a sweat shirt, cowboy hat, beanie and a thong. No pink anywhere in them. They will be available as soon as I work out the payment processors. That has to go through LFP accounting first.

Yeah well the clothes that I mentioned above are being created through one of my channels, the T-shirts are a completely separate thing. It is a cool cowboy hat though. Flex-fit.

I thought of this the other day too. Theres quite a few of us that would use them. I will look into getting them printed. Any idea of what they should say? Like ***boat.com and the word 'forums' under it? Someone design something, post it, agree on it and then send it to me. Do you think people would pay $1 for them to cover expenses? Who did the good job with the HTM accident stickers? Those turned out good too. Tho I think a nice Gold sticker to match MY truck would look the best :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

I would keep it simple just like they have it on the main page. If people go to the site they will find the forums. Do the letters in chrome, red, yellow or any color with a clear back ground. You would think ***boat could email you the art work they have on the logo. I don't see any problem paying a buck per decal to offset your cost. I find it hard to believe that ***boat.com is not interested in getting them made very soon.

We are moving forward now on the ***boat.com stickers. I am going to try to setup/ contact the printers over the weekend. I think that ***boat.com would work fine on them, but if a whole lot of people feel differently let me know.

We are working on the sticker thing. It looks like it will most likely be a six inch sticker and a 12 inch one. As far as matching colors I will see what we can do for a clear background. No promises there though.

I would step up and do the laser-cut stickers. They look a lot better and wear great.
On that note, you probably don't want to use chrome stickers. I have had them on my truck for a year now and they corroded (they are made of metalic something...) and turned white.
I would use some kind of silver vinyl for universal applications, and once we get crazier with the ordering program, branch out into white, black, red, yellow, blue and for Disco Charger green!

As soon as LFP gives me the go ahead to setup credit card processing. I did not want to use the current system because it is a pain in the ass. It looks like I am going to have to though. I will work on setting it up this weekend. Need to re-write much of my online store code to integrate with the old system.

I am looking at the laser cut stickers, would people be willing to pay $3 for a 14inch sticker? We will probably be making stickers from 10 to 14 inches, laser to the shape of the lettering.

Chrome isn't meant to last a long time outdoors. It's an interior vinyl with no UV resistance. It looks cool (and I offer it), but solid color vinyl is the way to go.
If ***boat is interested, I can work up a first article to check out.

Some bad news. It is going to be at a minimum another 15 days before we can even start doing anything. If you have ever seen the movie office space, that is what I am dealing with to get this on-line credit card processor authorized. Oh and the tee shirt sales will cease working on Tuesday. As soon as I get the ok from LFP we will be back online with the new products.
If it materializes I`ll buy one.

They are just having problems with the bidding procedure on which new boat builder gets to put there banner covering 68% of the sticker. They get it soon. Its down to the last 2% of free sticker space.
I hear ***boat gets the upper left hand (bout the size of a postage stamp). Wonder what boat manufacturer we will be advertising for?
