Let's not forget Lake of the Woods Ontario.
Lake Okanagan rocks. I plan to go back this year again too. Perhaps we can meet there, Hoolign.
Here are some pics from Lake Okanagan.

Yes, I agree, the Okanagan is probably the nicest place in the west, and I have had the pleasure to boat there for many years. I have relatives that live in Green Bay, so all of these pictures are quite familiar. I will be out there this summer from July 11 and hope to see th wakeboard Championship on the 12 th and 13th. Is there any other information on the poker runs there? I have never been on one and would like to see how much fun they are.
I have seen first hand the "Puck Off" boat and rumor has it the owner plays in the NHL (maybe obvious??). San Jose I think. I talked with the guys at the Eldorado Hotel and said they often see him when he fills up with fuel. Sweet boat.
There is a nude beach just down the way from his house, where are the pictures of that??

I am going to add to the list here, and I don't know if anyone reading this has been to these lakes, but it would be worth the trip. First off is Emma Lake, which is a beautiful lake to boat on, with the lake dividing into three separate parts, it makes for a smooth area wherever you may want to go. Nice beaches, a lounge you can boat up to, and some of the nicest scenery in Sask.
Another is Waskesui, which is the Banff of Saskatchewan. Again a beautiful place to boat. Lots of services and very busy in the Summer.
Candle Lake is another hot spot with some excellent boating, camping, lounges, and lots of fun. I hope to be able to post pictures later this summer of all these locations.

hoolign,
living in Indiana and surviving this last winter I am covered for the clothing and can now probably cope.
I once stood out on the viewing deck at Anchorage airport while it was snowing so I am fully acclimatized.
While I was there I went up and poked a few of those polar bears they have inside, that, coupled with the fact that I watched the cute little babies swimming around in the San Diego zoo gives me confidence that I can handle one. :)
I will start watching Animal Planet to improve my Elk spotting skills and by this afternoon I think I will be fully equipped to join in. After breakfast I am heading out to practise seal clubbing on the neighborhood cats so all in all I should be good by Thursday of this week. :D

That`s really nice looking. You can actually see. Bet the water is clear too. Down here its brown. Blue water way out in the Gulf. So you got sharks in the slat and gators in the rest. And in brackish you have both plus garfish.

Tom Brown
