Anyone hear of a boat accident by Katherine's landing a couple of weeks ago? Involved a BIG boat hitting some rocks and tearing the outdrives off?!

I have been out there a couple of times over the last few weeks and have heard nothing about it.

It was a 26', driver died at the scene and 3 others hurt. Out drives are fine, rest of the boat is totaled.

That island is pretty big, but low to the water. I'm thinking some drinking was involved. Too bad.

It' pretty dark out there at night, and if you are going fast, can end up going the wrong direction without a spot light. It's always bad to hear new like this...:frown:
